Local Councillor Helen Abrahams invites local residents young and old to a free screening of “Ice Age 2, the Meltdown” at Yeronga Memorial Park, Yeronga.
“It’s a delightful movie, and I’m sure children and adults alike will enjoy a pleasant evening out,” Cr Abrahams said.
“The Ekibin Lions Club is also hosting a fund raising BBQ at 6pm – so I would encourage everyone to support the great work they do for the community.”
The movie will be held at 7pm on Friday 2 February on the Central Oval, adjacent to the dog off-leash area at Yeronga Memorial Park.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
In the event of rain, the movie will be held at South’s Rugby Union Club at Yeronga Memorial Park Frederick Street.
