Adopt a Street

“Adopt a Road” signs are to be installed in Jane Street, West End in recognition of the Rotaract Club of South Brisbane’s efforts to remove litter from this street.

This is a great community based commitment by the youthful Rotaract members to regularly clean this one street of litter’ said Cr Abrahams

“I have participated in several clean up days and an amazing number of bottles and cans are picked up” said Helen Abrahams

The Adopt a Road is an initiative of Brisbane City Council and Keep Australia Beautiful Queensland.

“It would be great if other community members or groups put up their hand to adopt their street under the same process” said Helen Abrahams.
