The application is by the Music Broadcasting Society of Queensland and the demolition is to facilitate a commercial building on site.

The rationale for the demolition is that the dwelling does not contribute to the residential streetscape, that other character houses are run down and modifications have reduced the character features of dwelling.

The application is Notifiable Code Assessable and so neighbours will be notified and it will be advertised in the local paper. There is no right of appeal of Council’s decision.
